Go 4 days without washing your hair.. NO joke!!

So we all know, that washing your hair frequently really isn't good for it!! All hair types are different, so if you have oily hair this post may not be for you (however, you can learn how to wash your hair properly!!)

I use to be a routine hair washer, i believed that washing my hair everyday was best. Well I was so wrong. My hair started become dry and the ends started splitting. Washing my hair started to cause more damage then I thought it would.

After lots of trial and errors, I found a hair routine that would have me washing my hair less and leaving my tresses healthy and full of volume.

Remember all hair types are different. I have medium-thick hair and it's non oily, but not dry. (if that makes any sense!) First things first, you need to know how to wash your hair properly... I know what your thinking right, "Um washing hair is pretty self explanatory!" but I am sure there may be some steps you may not use.

DIY Face Peel

Don't waste money any more on expensive face peels. There is a recipe for one that will leave your face feeling baby soft and cost a fraction of the price.

I will give you some time to get a pen and notepad so you can jot this down. Back? OK lets go.

2 TBS Milk
1 Packet Unflavored Gelatin
Clean Paint/Makeup Brush

Warning this stuff smells good  STINKS!!

Mix both milk and gelatin in a microwave safe container. Microwave for 10 seconds. With your brush apply mixture to your face and allow it sit for 15 minutes. (Apply a thick layer, this way you are able to peel easier)

Time for some peeling. If you have some peach fuzz on your face this may feel like a wax in some areas, lol. sorry!!

As you can you see this really works, and leaves your face feeling as soft as a babies bottom.

Benefits of Flaxseed

Lately it seems as if everyone is on a health kick. Which is amazing however, some of the things people do to loose weight sometimes is almost scary.

I believe that, there is no miracle weight loss solution. If you want to be in shape, you have to work for it. And remember all those pills promising "weight loss" may be working for you now but when all is said and done and you stop taking those pills, the pounds you lost while taking them can come back.. even double.

I do believe however there is natural things that can be taken to help aid in weight loss, such as Flax Seed. Not only is Flax Seed good for weight it holds so many other benefits.

My recent all time favorite lip balm, hands down is Maybelline's Baby Lips.
Not only are they providing your lips with a gorgeous hint of color, they are moisturizing your lips leaving them "baby soft"... making them irresistibly kissable.
Their line Consists of 6 Shades which include:
  • Quenched
  • Peppermint
  • Cherry Me
  • Grape Vine
  • Pink Punch
  • Peach Kiss
Also look out for Limited Edition Colors!!

As you can you see, the colors are gorgeous!! And if your not ready for a full Lipstick look yet, these shades allow you that perfect tint of color!

My collection. I am missing Peppermint and Cherry Me.

What is Awesome about these Beauties is the price..... Drum Roll.... 3.99 That's it, and it's totaly worth it!! Or 6.99-7.99 I think for the Duo Pack.

Give these a try and let me know how you like them! I promise you won't be disappointed! :]

Ditch the Tanning Beds

Hello Goddesses
It's winter and that means, no laying out in that hot summer sun and no sun kissed tans.
So how do you keep yourself from not looking like a sparkling Vampire from Twilight ? Do you go to a tanning salon and "fake and bake" or do you use a self tanner? I use a self tanner and let me ensure you I love it!!
Reasons not to Tan
*Can lead to Skin Cancer (And Cancer in your eyes!)
*Can cause Blotchy Skin Disorders
*Aging of your gorgeous skin
O yes and get this, you chances of getting melanoma increases to 75% when you use tanning beds before the age of 35.
Now don't get me wrong I've had my share of indoor tanning beds, and my skin reflects the years of tanning it has gone through... and I'm only 22!
So it's time for the transformation... it's time for you to consider Self Tanners.
I promise these won't lead you into looking like an oompa loompa. If you use them the correct way!!
This Young Lady Obviously didn't follow instructions, or used a Self Tanner/Spray Tan that was way to dark for her complexion !
